A great time was had by one and all at the March 14, 2012 South Oakland Mayor's Association Dinner Meeting. We are all no doubt looking forward to next month's SOMA Dinner meeting which will be held on Wednesday, April 18th at Tequila Blue located at 526 Main Street in beautiful downtown Royal Oak.
L. Brooks Patterson and Mayor Daniels met for a friendly breakfast meeting where Mr. Patterson offered his great insight into governing from the perspective of the best-of-the-best. Mayor Daniels sincerely appreciated the meeting and the sound advice.

The goal is to promote unity and love within the mother - daughter relationship while having fun embracing ethnic cultural backgrounds and exploring the Preforming & Culinary Arts, Fashion and Music from around the world. Mayor of Troy Janice Daniels and newly elected Councilman James Campbell attend Michigan Municipal League CoreWeekender training class for newly elected government officials. “The speakers were very knowledgeable and gave good entry level analyses of the budgeting, planning and zoning processes that will certainly benefit us in the upcoming months and years," said Mayor Daniels. “I was so pleased to see that my colleague Councilman Campbell was also taking the opportunity for educational growth with the highly regarded Michigan Municipal League," continued Mayor Daniels. "We shared some lively conversations with government and business leaders alike."
